Bathroom refit - question

    Hi there,

We are looking at improving our bathroom - it's largish (9ft x 12ft at the largest point) and an unusual shape so probably looking at a corner bath, sink, loo and a quadrant shower. Will put in a decent power shower and tile the whole thing. We also have a downstairs loo to do up - where we'd be looking at a really small sink (max dept of 30cms) and loo. We are in Dublin.

My DH could do the whole thing himself, however it could end up as something that gets started and not finished for ages which would not be ideal. The last time we had a builder in the finish was so poor we ended up with my DH re-doing practically everything, and he did a proper job (fair enough this was in the middle of the boom so they could swing the lead). So, we are nervous about getting work done.

So what I'm wondering is, what is the best approach and best place to buy:
    a) get someone to supply and fit the whole thing
    b) buy the stuff ourselves and get someone to do the fitting
    c) buy the stuff ourselves and get Dh to do it (how much is this likely to save?)

Some of the bathroom shops will supply and fit the whole thing - is this better than using an individual?

Looking online (places like Victoria Plumb or www.bathroomfactorystore.com) there are some very very good offers out there - are these fittings rubbish? Any opinions there would be very welcome.

    Thanks in advance......
Any advice would be much appreciated.
