Rear Hub Replacement - Volvo V40

    Hi Everyone,

I've had a strange noise coming from the back of the car (02 Volvo V40) for a while now, and today I put it up on the jack and span the rear driver side wheel, and got the same noise, so I think the bearing is gone. I know on this car you need to replace the whole hub, but I was wondering if someone could give me an idea of what a reasonable cost should be for a garage to do this?

    Cheers...

I've had this job done on a Focus, at a main Ford dealer, and it cost somewhere around 300 euro if I recall correctly.

Can't say that was reasonable :)

Just in case anyone's interested I ended up paying €230 for this. Also got a quote of €350!
