I'm minding my sisters house while she's away and one of her showers is broken. My boyfriend is an electrician so we were gonna try fixing it.

On low power, it gets hotter when you increase temp but not really hot enough. On medium power it stays cold and on full power it's the same as low, temp increases but not hot enough. We think it's probably the element, we heard that they have 2 elements so would it make sense that the element that heats on medium is gone? Has anyone tried fixing this problem before and know where to get parts etc.? Would it be worth fixing? Haven't opened it up or anything yet.
