    Is this club still going?

It would be the closest to myself and I want start training in BJJ.

Is there any other clubs in and around the area? Can't find much on the net...

As far as I know the club has moved into Lucan MMA and Jorge now teaches there.

    Cheers lads.

Is Ribeiro the only one on the southside then?

I'm looking for a BJJ club, that trains with a Gi. Logistics don't really suit me for heading over to the north side...

Ribeiro, SBG Longmile Road and SBG City Center are the only Gi BJJ places on the south side, I believe.

Jorge still teaches in the Gi. But lucan wouldnt be too convenient for the OP.
    (Just to prevent any misinformation)

I sent SBG on the Longmile a shout... seems to be the best bet.
Handy location for me, close to work and the misses.

Just waiting on some info back.

Cheers for all the help lads! Much appreciated!

I've been training in Ribeiro since I started Jiu Jitsu about a year and a half ago, there's a savage welcoming atmosphere with top notch training partners. Darragh O'Conaill the head instructor is a brown belt under Saulo and Xande Ribeiro for his list of accomplishments you can check out the website. Timetables and the likes are up there as well :)

As far a what it's like for beginners, Darragh is one of the best Jiu Jitsu players in Ireland and he put's his skills straight into his students!

+1 for RJJ monkstown. I only went to beginners classes for a month and only stopped because of time issues.

Classes are great. Darragh and his assistant (forget his name) always make sure everyone has every drill down before moving on and never leave leave anyone out. Nice and welcoming to boot.
