Has anyone any opinion on Miracle Gro? is it good or is organic fertiliser better? Some people say that chemical fertilisers do not improve the soil in the long run. Or is ths just to sell the organic ones?

It's a handy foliage fertiliser. And will give good results quickly when used with a hose pipe dispensing system. It's a quick hit.
    It's very expensive.
You can buy a massive bag of 10's 10's 20's NPK at your local farmers mart. Though i've not done this recently. There may be restrictions on it's use nowadays as it can also be used to make bombs
If you are just after a good general purpose garden fertiliser the pelleted hen manure is quite cheap and gives good results 10 Euro for 10 Kilo's
