1D MK II Hotshoe Problem

Hey Guys,


My 1D MK II took a bit of a hit the other day when it was on my back with the flash attached. (Someone walked behind me, and hit it) now the hotshoe for the 1D is a bit loose, and the flash wont fire properly unless I push it down.

Does anyone know if this would be an easy repair, or if I'd have to send it up to our good friend Zero?

I think it might be hotshoe foot of your speedlight, not body hotshoe.

Could be, I do know that the hotshoe of the body is a bit loose, in that it turns it can be turned (ever so slightly) to an angle, but its not lifting.

Just tightened the screws on both the flash and the camera, both needed to be done! Thanks for the recommendation!
