Bike Fitting

I am experiencing some pains in left elbow, left knee (though not as bad since I slightly hired my saddle) right thumb (anyone else get this? - I would rest on the hoods a lot) and upper back/neck.

I want to get a proper bike fitting done and it appears from my research that Aidan in Kilmacanogue is the best guy for the job. My problem is, that he is booked out for the next two months.

I am doing some decent mileage now and plan to do at least 2-3 spins of 70k - 100k per week for the next month to prepare for the ROK, and would hope to contuinue after it.

But I don't want to cycle like a mad man for two months on a bad bike set up if it is going to cause me damage and pain so I was wondering if there is anyone else that offers such as good a service as Aidan does, but that might be able to fit me in before the ROK

My housemate and I were both experiencing knee pain before getting a bike fit done with irishfit in carrickmines, and we were both very happy with the results!

That's a lot of symptoms, sounds like overuse.

You have less than three weeks to the ROK. You're not going to get fitter in that time.

I would just reduce distance to less than 50k three times a week and let it sort itself out.

You can get round the ROK unfit, you can't if you're injured.
