hi was just looking for some help here for my son with the backing chords question (Q8c). do the chords have to be in some sort of order excluding the perfect cadence at the end. And in an approach chord can it go 2-4-1 aswell as 2-5-1. As in can you use a plagual cadence for the approach chord too or just a perfect cadence. Thanks a million!!

    The Approach chords are 1, 2, 4 and 5.
Which means any of them can come before the end cadence of 5-1 or 4-1.

You have to use a middle cadence at the end of the first line which is either 1-5, 2-5, 4-5 or 5-6 and the approach chord comes before that cadence.

You lose marks if you use the cadence of 5-2 or 2-1.
