    Hi,

I hope to study Midwifery or Children and General in TCD in Sept. The closing date for the CAO change of mind is coming up in a couple of weeks so need to make my decision quickly.. Can anyone that is currently on either of these courses or anyone that has finished either one give me some info? What are they like? Is TCD a good college for these courses? What are the placements like? Which is the more interesting course? I am interested in both, swaying more towards Midwifery but really want to make sure I am making the right decision! thanks for any help.

    Hi,

Just completed 3rd year in Gneral Nursing and am a former TAP student who is used to give a 'prep' talk to incoming first years- drop me a pm if you wish to discuss further :)

I also have some info books if you are interested- scope of practice, the yearly Gen Nursing guides etc. They can be collected in Tallaght.
