Hi I just bought an LG optimus s ls670 on ebay from the states. I bought the phone as I have started developing apps and would like to test them on it. The problem is that the phone doesnt have a place for a sim card and it is locked to the Sprint network. I would like to get past the "enter Sprint Id" part and just use the phone for testing purposes only. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if it can be unlocked. There isn't a SIM in CDMA phones. I think (open to correction) the IMEI is somehow linked to the network it operates on.

I'd try maybe seeing if you can get a custom ROM on it or maybe try running it in flight mode?

Dont mean to sound like a díck or anything but if you bought a phone without either realising you'd have this problem or sorting it out before you paid for it, then you're a long way from programming. This isnt LittleBigPlanet.
