Hi all so i'm off backpacking in the places mentioned in thread title over about 7-8 months. completely new to all this so any advice on what i need to do/bring with me (and any other travel tips) would be greatly appreciated. so far i have - medical shots/vaccines travel light photocopy all travel documents in triplicate…

Hi all

so i'm off backpacking in the places mentioned in thread title over about 7-8 months. completely new to all this so any advice on what i need to do/bring with me (and any other travel tips) would be greatly appreciated.

so far i have -

medical shots/vaccines
travel light
photocopy all travel documents in triplicate
have all money on visa, take out money in atms
use lonely planet guides to find hostels/trains etc

gonna probably book flights with sayit? are they the right people to go to?

bit of a messy post, but that's where my head is at the moment!
