Hi, Lost a gold wedding ring in a friends garden near Headford. Just wondering if a metal detector would help, and if anyone with one in the area would be kind enough to loan it for a couple of hours. thanks...

if the gardens not too big you could lay out some string or tape and do a grid search on my paws

if you cant find a metal detector try getting a metal and stud detector.
just tape it to the end of a stick, and calibrate it to about 2"or 3" with another ring. worked for me last year when i lost mine in long grass.
