If you turn 25 while getting JA does it increase the extra 40euro~ automatically or do you have to contact social welfare offices, I would assume since its an increase of money its in their interest to make you contact but as its just age and they have it all on data I thought it might just upgrade you? tks..

I dont presume anything of anyone and that includes state bodies, so I would go and inform them of the change in age, just like you would any change in circumstances

If it doesn't happen automatically, then something is wrong and you will need to contact your local office.
