    Hi Guys

Anyone know if there are flavoured skins in Ireland?

Also I watched a YouTube video of a guy who had menthol tobacco to roll... Is this available in Ireland as he was reviewing an American tobacco.... Kite I think it was called

    Thanks
    Gary

Do you know if most centras have them or is yours an exception? Does anyone know of any other places where you can get menthol filters?

I'm pretty sure most would have them, there's nothing special about mine like! I just found out they existed and went to see if they had them!

I have gone to the three Centras in Athlone and none of them stock them... am willing to travel as menthol would be my weapon of choice... anywhere in the midlands?

Well done, they are pretty hard to find to be fair! Although I have noticed in recent months, a lot more shops are stocking them.

Liquorice papers, now they're hard to find !!!!

Haha, that's be 'News and Deli' on Main Street. Used to buy menthol filters and liquorice papers in there. I remember searching for them for quite a long time, and then ended up finding them in a most unlikely shop just down the road. Also, the newsagents just before the exit to the parking garage in Dundrum Town Centre sells them also!
(Forget which floor its on though)

Are there not any tobacconists in Ireland? Used to go to one in Birmingham a few years ago that did dozens of different flavored tobaccos and skins.
Liquorice papers and coffee flavored skins were a personal favorite.

Yeah, but they generally specialise in Pipes and cigars. The only tobacconist in Ireland that I've seen with a reasonable variety wrt cigarette tobacco was a shop called Ms Moran's (iirc) in Belfast.

Do they sell flavored pipe tobacco? That can make a decent rolly.

What is it with ciggy smokers who insist on trying to inhale everything? :)

    Two points to make here.
1: Flavour your own tobacco. It's easy and you get the flavour YOU want. Try putting some star anise* into your tobacco pouch and you'll have no more problems trying to find flavoured skins.
You can get menthol crystols on Ebay to give your tobacco a minty flavour. Apple peel or orange skin stored in your pouch impart a flavour and also help regulate the moisture content of the tobacco.
I never used the little filters that seem to have become de-regur these days but I imagine that storing menthol crystals in the filter box would give you the desired minty hit.

2: If you can't find the skins you want then ASK your local newsagent to get them for you. Most shopkeepers will be happy to oblige and ensure getting a regular punter through their door.

*Aniseed flavoured spice available in any Asian supermarket.

Surely it'd be easier to just use mint leaves?
