The Made Up Weapons Thread

Did a few searches and didn't find any like this so. . .

What would be your weapon of choice for use on the hoarde be?
It can be one you have invented in your head or one you saw in a movie.
The key thing to remember is fictional

I remember reading a Graphic Novel called "The Preacher".
One of the guys in it had these revolvers that had infinite ammo, would never jam and would automatically killed anything they shot. Even if it was only a glancing blow.

So yeah. . . that would be mine. Overpowered yes but sheer weight of numbers would still take me out. Just might take longer.

That reminded me so much of dead rising 2, you make your own weapons in it, i've made some bizzare one, like the electrified wheelchair, the hammer axe, mma gloves with nails in them, boxing gloves with knives attached, and a tonne of other mad stuff.

I'd probably go with the electrified wheelchair for crowd control, it's hilarious! Just make sure to wear rubber soles and dont touch the metal parts..

While ammo is certainly a huge factor, for me the biggest issue is a weapon to deal with a crowd of zombies, like the laser weapon in that Congo film with the gorillas (cannot remember the name), but of course the predators plasma caster would be nice, very nice.

my fav would be the Light Sabre - it cuts anything, wont get jammed, and no blood splatter as it cauterizes as it cuts.

Well my one would a modified wepon that is in the Enders game book called the little doctour or MD device(Molecular Disruption Device)

The device produces two beams whose focal point has the ability to disrupt the bonds between atoms in molecules. The device also creates a field in which nearby molecules are also destroyed, and each dissolved molecule widens the reach of the field.

But it would be modified to only destroy only dead tissue

With one shot i could kill only one Zombie or a hord or them!

Also it only weighs as much as the hilt, so you would save a lot of energy!

Depending on whether this counts as a weapon my choice would be
Remember in Stargate Atlantis where Rodney found an Ancient amulet which generated an impervious shield around the wearer, it made them bullet/stab/bomb/bite proof, it also functioned as an inertial damper if you fell, regulated your temprature and produced breathable atmosphere around you should find yerself underwater/in space.
I'd have one of them and a hatchet

Not really a makie uppy weapon but a couple of gold AK 47s would be the job! Maybe that Nigerian prince that still owes me 5 milllion euro would send me a few?

Noisy cricket from MIB as a back up, that thing was cool!

Mine would be a boomerang that could slice through multiple necks without losing any impact and would always return to me, without slicing off my hand. I suppose it would need retracting blades and some sort of homing device, but hey this is imaginary so anything is possible.

For some reason when I thought of a fictional weapon for zombies I thought straight away to the extendable sword in Brotherhood of the Wolf, dont know if many have seen it but the guy had a sword that could extend with a chain built through it or something and functioning like a whip with the blades still attached...prob not as good as a lightsabre but damn it looks fun!

I would also take the laser gun from call of duty, that seems to be a good zombie destroyer! or the blaster cannon

i) The Freman sound gun & the Holtzman generator defensive forcefield from Dune
ii) Robo Cops ED209
iii) Aliens sentry guns.

put one hole on front of you and other one on the side of a tall building
it would be fun watching them fall plus you could get out of tricky situations farily fast

I would like 6 T-800 terminators, 3 to do perimeter sweeps and 3 for hunting and gathering supplies, maybe get one to do light chores and gardening. Might need a bit of reprogramming to differentiate between zombies and humans, through heartbeat or something.

Some adamantium claws like Wolverine would be cool, if I had to do any up close zombie killing. They'd never break or wear, so they'd always be sharp. And since they retract, I wouldn't have to worry about carrying anything extra.

You'd have to be very careful with those. If you forgot to clean them, you could poison yourself with zombie innards whenever you retracted them.

I thought of that after I replied. I'd definitely make sure to wash before retracting; I don't want to be a zombie.

A juggernaut suit like the one in the call of duty games. You could just tear through hordes of the b**tards without fear of getting bitten.
