Hello, i know sweet feck all about airsoft to be honest with you but i joined an air rifle shooting club a while ago and it's good fun. I was just researching a bit online and is it true you don't need a licence at all to buy an airsoft gun? I can just go to a site and buy one just like that, eg, this one…

Pretty much. The aeg in question must be under the legal limit of 1 joule and irish retailer will only sell legal ones so you're cool there, there may be age limits to purchase. Also good eye protection is a must.
