    hi i just did my driver theory test today and passed it . i was just wondering what the new rules they brought in after may 2011 for learners ? I cant find any information about it online . is there a minimum number of official lessons done to take the test , what is the new restricted license etc etc .

    The relevant bits for you, at the moment are; you will need to take 12 EDT lessons with an ADI, you must have a licenced driver in the car when you practice and you will not be able to sit the test until you have held your learner permit for six months.
