Live security platnium virus, how to remove?

Hi my laptop has the live security platnium virus on it. It is preventing me from opening any websites,running security scan or downloading Malaware etc. to try solve the problem. I'm not very good with all this so if anyone can break it down bit by bit how to get rid of this i would really appreciate it.Thanks.
