Can't help you re the installation but we have one (got it the day the Sky man was here connecting us - he waited til hubby went to Harvey Normans to buy it). It works great. One tip, the Sky man told us to buy the most expensive on in HN as they give the least trouble, it was about €90 I think but it was a good call, it works perfectly. Know some people who bought cheaper ones and they are a bit troublesome.

Thank you. I might try a cheap one first. Is there many wires coming out of the back

Co-ax cable from RF2 output on the Sky receiver to bedroom TV required. Instructions on how to fit the magic-eye will be included with the unit. If you have any problems at that time post back here and someone will be able to advise.

Yes, reels of cable up to 100m/250m are available but unless you live in a really big house shorter lengths are available. How far is the Sky box from the bedroom?

Is there a TV point in the bedroom already?

Is the TV point currently used? Is it connected to anything at the other end? Where is the other end located, attic or elsewhere?

You could use that TV point for the RF2 output from the Sky receiver if you can run a cable from the Sky receiver to the other end of the TV point cable, might be a tidier job.

If running a separate cable from the Sky receiver you'll have to plan the route the cable will take when calculating the length of cable required.

OK, assumed when you posted "There is on tv point" it was a typo for on(e) TV point.

    Yes TV cable required.
