Hi All, I have been looking for some beer festivals in Germany for the week 21-28 July. I will be on holiday in Thuringia visiting the OH's family. Closest thing I can find is the Annafest in Forcheim which is about 3 hours by train. Would probably stop a night there. Has anybody ever been and is it worth going down to? I…

Hi All,

I have been looking for some beer festivals in Germany for the week 21-28 July. I will be on holiday in Thuringia visiting the OH's family.

Closest thing I can find is the Annafest in Forcheim which is about 3 hours by train. Would probably stop a night there.

Has anybody ever been and is it worth going down to? I don't think it is a big festival but that doesn't bother me. Looking for a local vibe rather than a touristy feel
