Re free to air box/ rte aerial

Hi
I have a house that has free to air and rte on the tv which is fine. I think the satellite box is connected from satellite to tv with the aerial connected to the sat box and connected to tv via scart. In any event on the tv I have rte stations and free to air.

What I want to know is , do I just change around the cables that are there already ... via a new saorview box .... To have exactly the same as i have now??? when analogue is switched off in oct?
I will then have two boxes I presume , the free to air and the new sairview box. I want to do this as cheaply as possible . I don't want combo or anything like that just the minimum to keep what starions I have.
If I need another connection from dish or anything like that I will have to get a professional otherwise I think I would be able to swap around cables with a bit of advice from here.

What free-to-air satellite receiver do you have now?

Regarding Saorview, aerial only required. Do you receive all 4 analogue channels now (RTÉ, TV3, TG4)? If so Saorview will be available with your existing aerial. If you don't currently receive TV3 the aerial may have to be replaced and/or realigned - http://www.saorview.ie/make-the-switch/step-2-check-aerial/.

As the cush says, if argos is close, the cheapest option is their box. Get the box, try it, if it does not work then you may need your aerial adjusted or replaced.

Worst case bring the box back for full refund.
