Looking to start juicing vegetables and I'm lost on what to buy.
I have a good blender at home which I'll be using for fruits but I'm looking to get something which can juice leafy green vegetables and carrots etc.
    Anyone got any suggestions?
Am flexible on price as long as it's good, but would hope to pay around 250 or so

I'm in LOVE with my juicer. It is an Omega 8006 - here's the link: http://www.energiseyourlife.com/products/Omega-Juicer-Nutrition-Centre-8004-White-and-8006-Chrome.html

That is a site in the UK where I bought it a few years ago - they are available in Ireland as well - you'll probably have to buy it online as I've never seen these in the shops.

These are called 'masticating juicers' - they work by grinding the juice out, so what you end up with is a dry pulp at one end and a lovely big cup of juice at the other! In my opinion they are the best juicers by far - WELL worth the money.

I used to have one of those cheap models (50 euros approx) that work by spinning the fruit and veg at high speed. These are a joke. They won't work on things like spinach or leaves, and they have a hard job getting juice out of hard veg like carrots or broccoli.

When you buy a masticating juicer like the Omega you will get a nice big glass of green juice from a bunch of spinach - its that simple!

Every vegan (and vegetarian) should invest in one of these juicers and make it part of his/her daily lifestyle!

    Good luck! ;)
