Myself and 2 friends climbed the Teallach ridge last weekend. it is situated in the north west highlands of Scotland, about 1 and half/2 hours drive above Inverness, not far from Ullapool.
We stayed 2 nights in the Shenavall bothy just down from the ridge, took a good hour and half trek with supplies from the car park at the road to reach it. There is a trail all the way to it. There were a few others staying there aswell. IT has 4 rooms. It was a well kept bothy in a glorious location.got a fire going the both nights.

The ridge itself has 2 monros i think on it.took about 7 hours round trip. a fair slog up to the top of it, but very good scrambling to be had once there!. a lot of sharp peaks with sheer exposure on one side. found it easy enough to do in the dry conditions.weather was clear but mist kept coming and going all day up on the ridge. the peaks can be avoided if wished the is a path around but no fun in that!.after reaching the 2nd monro, hiked down the side of it down along side of a lake, followed a trail around it back to where we started

Overall although it is a fair drive up north, It was a very good expedition:), i recommend carry as light as possible supplies from carpark to bothy as it is a long hike out to it, about 7 km i think..
