    hows things i need to start getting new permissions as my own is to small i shoot mainly crows and pigeons ...i know im going to start knocking on doors and asking but im just wondering what is the general response from farmers and are they likely to ask questions and what is the best time to approach them???are they happy to have a shooter offer their services to control vermin???

    As long as you have Insurance they may talk to you but you have to be aware they may have a local Club shooting ther lands so dont be disapointed if it does not work out on all your calls,:D

    wear casual clothes,nothing worse than a fully camoed D reg thug coming up their drive way:eek: LOL that was a joke!!
    Put a binder together with insurance,cull figures, references and ive seen some lads make their own business card just to leave with the farmer. One thing to do is thank them for their time and leave on a positive note. Other than that its all down to them wanting you on their land.

    Smile and introduce yourself. If they say there no just keep on chatting to them about this and that. In the end they may tell you of someone who can sort you out
