Re-entering First year after Deregistering

Hey guys just a quick question..

I de-registered from First year Science at the end of semester 1 last year without completing the christmas exams for personal reasons. When I was asked in the exit interview if I would be returning to NUIM I said no as I honestly didn't think I would be.

I read the CAO handbook and it says that you can re-enter a course automatically if you put it down as your number one choice. Is this true? And is there someone in the college I should talk to in the meantime?

I'd probably try have a chat with someone in the admissions office. Fair play on deciding to come back, I'd say it's a difficult decision. Are you going back to science again?
