Petrol Volvo's S40 - S80

    I am on the lookout for a 2009 maybe 2010 Volvo. I like the S80 but I may be interested in a S40 or S60.

    I don't drive enough for a diesel (less than 9000 miles a year)

    Why are there no petrols available when i search online??

    Because nobody bought them - it's as simple as that;)!

    The diesels were cheaper to buy and in a lower tax band, which is why people bought them. Unfortunately due to the nature of the tax changes in 2008, people started buying diesels even if they didn't need one.

    There are still a few S40 1.8 FFV in 09/08 knocking about and should be cheap enough to buy because demand for them is very low. They ran on E85 bioethanol but that isn't sold here anymore but it will still run on regular unleaded.
