Great work put in by Sean and everyone else on the commission, hopefully theres someone else willing to take up the position and carry on with all the effort put in so far.

Looks like Sean finally saw the light and copped on that he is wasting his time talking to the powers that be!! The same powers that have stopped the best thing that ever happened to Irish mountainbiking, aka The Blast!!

Aye whats happened to an event as widely reported, and revered as the blast, that has brought in money, tourism and acclaim, and been shut down by eijets is a travesty in austerity Ireland.

I don't want to get into the rights and wrongs of how "The Blast" situation was handled, but the fact remains, that Coillte manage a large percentage of the lands, used by MTBers in this Country. We may not like this, but that's the way it is, and race organisers still have to deal with Coillte. Rembember also, that Coillte give permission for races to be held on Coillte land.
Calling them eejits is, perhaps, not the best way to get and keep them onside.

I dont think slagging off coillte on apublic forum is the most sensible action to take. They will always win!

Fair play to him for having the conviction and the courage to stand up for his sport and not continue to fight a loosing battle with Coillte.
