Hey guys I have a dell dimension desktop which is 4 years old.It had some problems but is running smoothly now.We bough a Nvidia duts out when c12v which ran most games which was made in its time and up until this year it burnt out but the computer repair guy replaced it with a ****y 30 euro which cudnt handle any game,i didnt mind as i had gaming laptop but now the fan in that is doggy and cuts out now when playing games. So i have decided i want to upgrade the desktop to play games like skyrim and other high demanding games from what i know i have a dual core processor so im just wondering what i can do to upgrade it and how uch it would cost.Thanks.

I honestly doubt you could upgrade a 6 year old Dell to play current games (though I don't know what specs Skyrim needs).

Depends on what your willing to spend and what resolution u play at.I had a Radeon hd 6570 only takes up like 65 watts and played skyrim on max with no AA and got 250 fps on cod 4 promod cost about 60 euro new or 40-50 second hand :)
