    "Do something! "
    "I am doing something : I'm laughing "

Pam had been great this season so far.

Not as entertaining as last week's opener.. and Chris Meloni was pure cheese, but not bad!

It was ok but what bothers me is each season there seems to be a higher power that governs the vamps to the point it's getting repetitive.

You almost expect next season the current top dogs are going to be answering and groveling to someone higher up.

I think the biggest problem is that there are just too many barely related plots happening all the time. I don't care about the bloody werewolves or whether Emma is a wolf or a shifter. It doesn't even make sense that the shifters are scared of the wolves as the ability to turn into any animal on the planet is actually 8,700,000* times better than being able to turn into just a wolf.

The beauty of the first season was how well everything tied together. But since then the different plots are all just happening at the same time, rarely have anything to do with each other and don't even reflect each other thematically. Each episode seems to be 5 to 10 minutes of different characters doing their own thing and only very rarely interacting. It's hard to keep caring about the plot strands that are good when they are interrupted every few minutes to show us Sam and Luna tension.

*Amount of species a shifter can become.

Agreed, we're definitely going to have at least 5 storylines at once this season: Bill/Eric/Russell/The Authority; Sookie/Alcede; Tara/Pam; Jessica (temporary queen)/Jessica/Hoyt and; Wolves/Shifters.

It's difficult to see how those stories will meld together without feeling forced (see last season).

There is also Terry and his military past and Steve Newlin/Jason with maybe some Sheriff Bellefleur and Holly thrown in. Some of those stories might tie together but a of them won't.

Ï agree, there are way too many characters and plots that aren't really going anywhere. It's a bad sign when you just simply don't care what happens to the characters. Jessica used to be one of my favourites but she has become pretty much useless, it's especially obvious in these two new episodes where all she does is throw parties and sing karaoke. And I never really cared about Sam and Luna either, or Jesus and Lafayette. Lafayette used to be one of my favourites too but now he's become annoying. Not to mention Tara, ugh.

It seems like there are so many different stories going on that overall very little happened at all in this episode. Pam keeps being awesome though. :p

I find the best way to watch is with a few tabs open, so I can flick to another site and just listen to the audio when the boring parts are on. Then flick back when it gets interesting again.

Steve Newlin dancing was excellent, he's a great character but I do wonder where they're going with him this season.

He's obviously got more vampire connections than he lets on as he seemed to know that Bill was in trouble with the Authority and would not be king for long.

im about to give up on this show. I loved the first season - since then its been all over the place and it often feels like theyre making it up as they go along.

there needs to be a main strand that ties all the mini stories together. the last 3 seasons has just been a mish mash of unrelated, and often pointless storylines.

if this season doesnt improve on the lack of focus soon, im giving up!
