Are there Home Appliance breakers yards

I'm looking for a replacement door for a Zanussi built in single oven.
I'm getting quoted €160 -€180 through all the usual spares places.
I could but the full oven 2nd hand one on adverts or donedeal for €100 so I'm not biting.
Where does all the WEEE collected stuff end up, is there an appliance breakers yard somewhere I could go & harvest ?.
Seems silly to promote recycling when you can't get easy access to affordable spares.

Don't know where you are but the recycling centre on The Murrough in Wicklow town usually has a number of kitchen appliances in the yard. Perhaps they might be able to help with your search.

I'm in Kildare & I just e-mail the lad who runs the recycling yards (Kilcullen & Athy).
I'm not expecting a Yes but can't hurt to try.
