From October, there will be a few changes at Preseli as work begins to clear space higher up the UHF band.

It means the BBC HD mux will move from Ch50 to Ch40, whilst the Arq B mux currently on Ch49 moves to Ch39.

Could spell trouble for the second Mt. Leinster mux, but more likely to create issues on the Welsh side where non PSB muxes are lower power and which don't have the same protection.

Thought Mount Leinster was moving to channels 23 and 26 after october 24th.

I often get a French mux on CH39 during lifts which could cause problems in Wales.

The change of frequencies was discussed here last Nov - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056451213

Thanks @TheCush - I hadn't noticed that Ch 39 was also moving to Band A too.

What date will Preseli be changing? Will the switches be all at once or staggered? Will CH4 be going HD on Preseli?
