Do i have to wait 6 months between getting learners permit and doing driving test?

    I got the provisional licence/learners permit about 4 months ago and i was told i have to wait a minimum of 6 months before i can do the driving test. Is this true?

    If your learner permit shows the code "991" in the Restriction column on the right then, yes.

    Yes.
    If you just got your first learner permit four months ago, you cannot sit your test until six months from the date of issue. You can apply now though.

    Have you started or completed your 12 Edt lessons? Surely your ADI would have explained this to you?

    Yes, i am doing the 12 lessons at the minute, I was just unsure if i had to wait 6 months or not. Thanks guys.
