    Hi all,
I am looking at getting some parts for a broken WE Socom Gear 1911A1. I can't seem to find them on any website. Any ideas?

Internal parts for WE/Socom gear pistols are tokyo marui compatible, externals like slides are a weird one, a WE slide will fit a marui but a marui slide will not fit a WE pistol. hope this helps.

    That is weird alright :P
Hmmm there are parts within my slide that are broken, but I can't seem to find the individual parts, just the whole slide, barrels etc.
How would I get my hands on parts? on the web there seems to be little but are there any shops where I can get a hold of parts?

    Thanks, much appreciated

Well what parts are broken? In the slide you have spring, spring guide, barrel plug, outer barrel, inner barrel, hop up chamber, hop up rubber, BBU (Blowback unit), Loading/Air Nozzle and associated springs, Piston head & cup etc.

    Hi again Inari :P

I got it off a friend recently. The parts that are broken are:
A little black plastic square nut thing that is screwed into the hop-up unit. I think it stops the inner barrel from completely leaving the outer barrel.

The valve and rubber o-ring that the loading nozzle sits on is causing it to not move as far forward as it should.

The spring that brings the nozzle back is messed up too. It doesn't seem to be strong enough to bring the nozzle back if it goes too far forward.

Lastly the Ambi safety on the right side (looking from behind) of the gun doesn't work. the left side does though.

I think that's pretty much it.. I think I said valve and o-ring, they're in the back of the slide but I don't know the proper names :P

    Thanks

THANK YOU!!!!! I could not find them anywhere..... Damn that hop-up looks pretty good.. No finicky plastic pieces to break off.
Now I wonder would it come with the appropriate screws and wheel etc...who cares I have a set. Cheers Southern Daddy! You saved my gun. Much appreciated

I order my parts directly from KJworks, theyre very easy to deal with and all the prices are in TWD and cost next to nothing.

you email them on their contact us email.
Their manuals have all the codes for their parts. (its down as english menu on the website)

heres the link for the M1911 parts
    http://www.kjworks.com.tw/photo/12918986833.pdf

just quote in the email that its for a 1911 pistol & the part numbers and they'll send you back a paypal address and a quote for P&P.

last time i ordered a load of parts off them (including a **** load of spare bullet lips for magazines) the P&P came to $2.50
