Free RTE TWO HD on Sky without HD sub, channel 294

Just turned on channel 294 on my sky box. Am not paying for HD sub. but low and behold, rte two hd is there. Is this a mistake? Maybe i shouldn't have opened my mouth, hopefully i'll get the match out of it this evening. I'm not getting any of the other HD channels through.
