    HI,
A friend of mine has just bought a second hand psp 1000 Phat.
Not knowing anything about it, it seems to be stuck on 3.02 OE-B.
Before anyone comes in with this beginabout piracy its not.
He wants to be able to put official firmware on it or something he can add homebrew to.
I am at a loss, my psp is on prome-4 or something like that and was easy to update.
When I try to update this with anything I get a DADADADA error?
Another work colleague suggested the pandora battery or stick.
    Can anyone help me out?
This is for a gift for a kid and is being sent to India tomorrow so not much time to get sorted.
    Any help/advice greatly appreciated.
    Sham.

dadada error was put in there by DarkAlex to stop people accidentally updating their cfw to ofw,

you'll need to downgrade to 1.5 then you can do an official update

google "recovery-any-oe-custom-firmware" for the required files, psp.d.....com is the site you want
