I've just had a pre-interview phone interview for a call centre job with PayPal in Dundalk.

Does anyone have any advice for the interview? Do they wear a uniform there?

Is it a good place to work?

    Thanks.

Always wear formal wear for interviews. Having said that, they seem fairly relaxed on the clothing as far as i noticed. Casual.

Read up on everything abut Paypal

Be prepared for a long wait for a interview.

    Good luck.

No uniform, but for an interview always wear something smart, i believe the interview starts the minute you walk in, as in the receptionist girl is part of it, so be friendly to her. Good luck, let us know how you get on>

no uniform in PayPal, and workwear is very casual - jeans and sweatshirts are allowed. However I would, as others said, arrive dressed smartly for the interview.

It's not a bad place to work in general. As with most companies who provide customer service often the 'managers' are not really management material, but know the most about a particular product or service, so get promoted. So some issues with what they think is/isn't permitted, but I believe this is generally an issue in this sector, not just PayPal.

Wages are about average, VHI they offer is a very good package, gym, social club, subsidised canteen, bonuses. Its a good place to get experience in customer service and build your CV from.
