    Carbon dating would be one method. However I would take major issue with the claim that some of these are premodern humans. They show none of the markers for that and those markers would be obvious. For a start they all have very well defined chins, they also have the standard operational cheekbone sweep, small dentition etc. They're clearly modern human skulls. The extreme deformation is down to head binding in childhood(when the skull plates are remarkably elastic), a well known and researched practice in some cultures. Indeed, you couldn't do such with an archaic skull as their skull robustness was much higher.

    The last two skull examples are of children(with common enough usually fatal cranial deformations), so superimposing an adult human skull doesn't quite fit.

    There are some more recent skulls that are suggestive of more archaic humans. Some good examples have been found in Australia. I don't think these are though.
