Viewing a car he other day.

Best car on donedeal he said.
Only problem is a bump on the alloy he said.
Flew through the nct he said.

After finding a million and one problems with the car and pointing them out to him, only for him to deny every one of them, we asked how he got through the nct with the alloy on it. " I got my mechanic to come with me for the nct, ya know, here's my mechanic, here's 20 quid, done."

Couldn't hand over my cash quick enough.

Meh, if I started to see a million problems i'd just walk tbh. Wouldn't deal with the person any further. No point arguing about it.

I'm not arguing. I just found it amusing.
Telling a potential buyer that it's a dodgy nct

    Indeed!
Didn't say a word to him anyway, rather leave it as fair warning for the next viewer when he slips up!

The amount of "spotless" cars that "will fly through nct" I've seen.
One actually had leaves all over the engine bay. Another had a huge dent in the rocker panel.
Needless to say I made my excuses and left.
