the algarve's a pretty big place with lots of towns and villages and lots of hotels.

what exactly you looking for? nightlife? proximity to restaurants/bars/beach, quiet area etc etc?

A relaxing holiday, near the beach or a nice quiet area

you wont get more relaxing than suites alba, owned by footballer luis figo, stunning hotel in quiet area on cliffs overlooking the sea.

not cheap though & a rental car would be necessary.

for cheaper options, check out threads on Alvor & Tavira.
