changing flight for under 16 (Ryanair)

Hi folks, i wonder if anyone can help me with this issue.
My friend is in spain with her family for 2 weeks. We are going over next monday. My friends daughter (under 16) wants to change her flight and come home with us.
When we go online to do so (manage my booking), it is not letting us as she is under 16.
Any ideas of how we can do this, without having to ring the lovely people in Ryanair!
    Many thanks
    Evie

As she's a minor you have no choice but to contact them by phone. It's complicated by that fact and compounded as she's travelling as part of another booking.

If they're already there, there is a very good chance they've already checked in for their return flight, and if that's the case, then it's game over. NO changes are permitted after check-in, even to add a bag. The only way around that would be to book a fresh flight.

Thanks a million for your efficient and quick response. I will see if they checked in and make a decision from there.

    Thanks again

Not correct as I have found out today - firstly by phoning Ryanair, and then by adding a bag after online check in.

Mmm. Cool! It tells you as you go through the process of checking in that no further changes are permitted. Handy to know.

I rang ryanair this morning, and they charge €15 to uncheck the person in. I was then told to wait an hour and then I could re book the person on another flight.

Well after 4 phone calls later to Ryanair (and in fairness they were all very helpful), the flight has been changed to the new date. I was told i could check her in online, but I still cant as she is a minor.

Another phonecall in the morning should sort it out. It costs 40 to change the flight, and then also the difference in what was originally paid and what the flight is now, so all in all, it cost €90.
