Sony Walkman & Radio interference

    Changed from an ipod to a Sony Walkman e-series for listening to music in the car. Love the features of the Walkman and the sound quality is great as you have an equalizer. However, this was using the earphones. As soon as I connected the Walkman to the car with a stereo to stereo jack all i could hear was white noise or a radio interference alongside the music. The shop said that it was the two aerials interfering with eachother and there is nothing I can do.

    Has anyone else had this problem??? Did you have to bring the Walkman back? Am really disappointed that i now have to go back to the ipod. Any suggestions welcome :)
