    3.40 Yarmouth

    Button Moon 25/1 NAP

Although he hasn't been at his best this year, he shaped with a bit more promise LTO and I think Button Moon is now handicapped to strike and I think today will be the day. He's now fallen to a mark of 80 and based on his effort off a mark of 83 when finishing 1L to Murura, a horse I rate an awful lot, this is a strong piece of form. Visored for the first time, Button Moon returns to the track of his only success to date for only the 2nd time in his career and I think this is significant. With trainer Ian Wood in good form and with Ian Burns, who has his first ride for the trainer tonight, taking off a very handy 7lb I certainly think he's got a good chance of landing this competitive event.

    5.00 Beverley

    Monzino 20/1

Showed next to nothing in 3 bumpers for trainer Michael Chapman but was a huge eye catcher in my eyes when sent off a 200/1 shot on his flat debut over 7f at Wolves as he was a staying on 6th. Switched to turf today and although I think he's definitely going to be better over further than todays 7.5f he's too big at 20s.

    6.10 Kempton

    Mays Boy 22/1

Although he hasn't gone with much verve in his last two starts, he was successful over C+D 3 starts back in fine fashion and being only 5lb higher than that victory he still looks feasibly weighted. Regular pilot Rachel Kneller is on board in this apprentice event and I think its definitely a bonus in a race where she is up against fellow amateurs. Although trainer Mark Usher was in good form last month, he's 0-10 for June which is a bit of a concern and is definitely a negative. However, he's just far too big at 22/1 and if back to the form of his April success this 4 year old could prove difficult to beat and I've had a small bet in the hope that he does.

    6.50 Hamilton

    Oil Strike 16/1 NB

Have been waiting for the money to come for this 5 year old ever since he joined Mick Easterby and after falling 9lb to a mark of 80 I think today is when Easterby is looking to strike. Although winless on turf, he has a multitude of very strong form between marks of 84-87 and looks quite well handicapped on that evidence. Furtermore, he's dropped back to 6f and dropped in class for the first time since joining the yard so today represents his easiest task in quite a while. David Simmonson takes the ride which is his only engagement of the day and his 7lb claim should be very beneficial today. With Mick Easterby in decent form at present, I think the money looks significant for what is the trainers sole runner today.

    9.00 Fairyhouse

    Tenuous Link 66/1

Fascinating contender for Vincent Ward on his debut for the trainer. Formerly with Dermot Weld, Tenuous Link is a 4 year is a nice enough bred son of Oasis Dream who is a half brother to several winners. He's had only two starts today as a 2 year old where he showed a little promise. The few very interesting things about this colt are he's coming back from a 732 day lay off for a new trainer. Furthermore, he takes a huge step up from his previous starts of 7f to todays trip of 1m4f which is very eye catching to me. Vincent Ward, a sheep farmer with only a partial licence, is only allowed to train 4 horses at once and I certainly think that this statistical alone demonstrates he still holds some semblance of ability. Moreover, Ward has excelled in the past with Weld cast offs with twice Listed winner and former stable star Fictional Account the prime example. I'm having a small bet today if Ward has him ready for only his 3 start although I fully realise he well get a handicap mark after todays race. Definitely one to keep an eye on regardless of what happens today.

Always liked this horse, used to be on him when Jim Crowley had the ride, already gone from 25/1 to 12/1 on bet365.
Hopes N Dreams however in this race is given the NAP from 5 different papers. Got my money E/W on Oil strike thou.

I really like the look of this Button Moon myself.

The fact it is at Yarmouth and the 7lb claimer makes it VERY interesting.

Got gobbled up out in front :(

So you've never gone a day without a winner? None of these were confident selections. How sad are you though that you had to highlight this.

Since the Cheltenham Festival some of the winners I have posted up are are Son Of Flicka 40/1 NAP, Bajan Tryst 22/1 NAP, Titus Gent 16/1, Snap Tie 16/1, Maarek 12/1, My Girl Anna 11/2 + forecast paying €36.16, Regal Tramp 7/1, Apache Drums 6/1 (posted up first two home in the race but didn't advise the forecast), Ducal 5/1, Grandeur 9/2 NAP , Cats Eyes 9/2, Rosairlie 4/1,Qaraaba 5/2 NAP although I could be forgetting some more. I've also posted a multitude of decent priced place horses such as Light Burst 50/1, Conquisto 40/1 Greensward 25/1, Derfenna Art 22/1, Negin 20/1, Bahr Nothing 16/1, Mon Brav 16/1 to name a few of the bigger priced ones.

Must be doing a **** job then.

Wasnt having a go just thought that it should be highlighted where the selections finished. If any of them had of won you would of been the first person on saying how great it was that you got a winner. Yet with nearly all your selections that lose there is silence in your threads. Would be nice to just highlight finishing positions whether the selections win or lose.

Oh and if these were not confident selections then maybe you should stop writing NAP and NB beside them. A point system would work easier for those that follow your picks.
