Looking for some advice - I recently purchased signs off isigns.ie / premiersigns.ie and paid for them up front. I used them because of his 24 hour turnaround time and the testimonials on the site we from fairly raputable businesses. The business owner was very quick to respond to my pre-sales queries but since I have paid him he has disappeared off the face of the earth. It is not a lot of money but this is a matter of principle. I paid via bank transfer so I cannot the money back that way. Can I go to the guards or do I put it down to a lesson learned.

Ps Make sure you do not use this man

According to the CRO, isigns was owned by Signs Online Ltd which was dissolved in 2010 and Premiersigns.ie is registered to a person at a similar address in Easkey, Co Sligo.

There is a physical phone number on the isigns.ie website.

Bring him to the small claims court. When you got an invoice, who was it under?

Aye. But if you bought it from iSigns, I'd wonder how the court would view a company that was dissolved taking peoples money and not giving them their product?
