Analogue vids to Hard drive

    I've got some old homemade family vids from an analogue Camcorder which are on dvd to play on Music Player Classic home cinema with good results but i want to transfer them to portable Hard Drive and maybe do some editing first .win.7 upgrade any tips ....i hav'nt the patience to trawl .
