IVCA track championships on Sunday so I guess I will be "racing", unlike you guys taking it at a leisurely pace on the North County roads...

(nice jersey, but please don't call me Tulip agaian, at least not on Boards)

Cheap at twice the price, I just need to stock up on the P20 now.
Hoping to do the 140k but if the pace is like last year I will get the train home from Drogheda, (assuming the sun stroke doesn't get me first :D )

    Hello,
Sorry for late late question - does anyone have an idea how tough the 100km option is?
Would it be easier for example than the Wicklow 100 ? Just coming back from injury so cannot undertake anything too tough. Also can't decipher the Category climbs on the 110km route - anyone have any idea how many and at what Category?
Thanks a million for any info.

Definitly easier than the WW100. Its a mass start (well depending on how many sigh on for each route) which leaves Fingallians GAA @ 9am. There will be a lead car from the start right up to the tea-stop at Drogheda. The route is Flat up to this point. Once the 150K and 100K route split up, the 150K route gets a bit "lumpy" around Duleek and Garristown. The 100 K route has no real hills to speak of.

Just back from the Swordscc Tour.
Many thanks to all who turned up. Once again John and Mags did a great job. A special mention for The Motorcycle riders. They were always in the right place at the right time. Well done everyone!...great day!

Totally agree, a fabulous day's cycling. Great route, teastop, motorbike marshalls and fast company. A great job done by Swords CC. Well done John and Mags and not forgetting 07Lapierre for organising the weather.

Great day of pure agony. Cramped in both quads coming into garristown prob down to not drinking enough / training enough & too many mars bars!!!!! That was as tough as the Wicklow 200!!
Thanks to the club for arranging a great event.

Enjoyed that, it was my longest cycle and first in a big group and probably one of my fastest. A lapse of concentration caused me to lose contact in Ardcath and I didn't have the legs to get back on.
Also cramped in Garristown maybe there was something in the air. Took a short cut over nags head but still just arrived in home in Rush at the same time as the front group so I think getting shelled out the back was an inevitability.
    Thanks to all the organisers.
