Does anyone know when the application forms are posted out for 2nd year maintenance grants? Or is it possible to collect the forms now, ourselves?

If new students are already able to apply, i'm assuming 2nd, 3rd and 4th years should be able to apply too.

If you are already in receipt of a maintenance grant usually your awarding authority will send you out a renewal form around July or so.

I never noticed there was a reply! Thanks!

Just one more question. On the application form for students reapplying, do we need to fill out section G if our circumstances have not changed? My Dad is in receipt of social welfare payments and has been for the past 3 years - the rate of payment has not changed - meaning his 2011 payments were the exact same as the 2010 ones. Do we still need to submit documents saying how much he received and in turn fill out section G?

Limerick CoCo has already sent the renewal forms, assuming that they all work along the same lines you will need a statement from SW for 2011 (can be requested online and posted out in a few days), P21 from the revenue if there has been any taxable income and a copy of your exam result to show progression on to 2nd year, closing date was mid august.

It says you need proof of confirmation of attendance, is your exam results really enough for this? That would be great if so but I thought they weren't enough!
