Maternity Benefit - Illness Benefit - Unemployment Benefit

Some one I know went directly to Illness Benefit from Maternity Benefit ,They have been on Illness Benefit for 18 months and have been called for a medical assessment by social welfare, If this person is deemed fit to work can they claim their stamps for the next 12 months ?

simple answer is yes they can, but they obviously have to follow the JS rules in that they are activity seeking employment and not just sitting on their ass for 12mths
