    Hi all,

My housemate has just received her exam results for the semester. She didn't fail any at Christmas, however she has got 31% and 35% in two exams this semester. Can she pass by compensation? In all her other 4 subjects she got 65+

Not really too sure how this works, and of course the exams website is down at the moment

    Cheers

Ok as far as I know you need to get above 35 to compensate in any subject, so I think getting them rechecked is probably her best port of call.

I think it's a maximum of 2 subjects that you can compensate but both must be 35-39.

    Hopefully I'm wrong on that.

Thanks for the reply mayordenis, I think getting the rechecked is the best place to start, she feels the 31% in particular was unfair so hopefully she might get some joy getting them rechecked

    Question
    Course- Tourism year 1
    In Semister 1 i passed 5 out of 6 failed German A1

    in Semister 2 i passed 4 out of 5 failed German A2.

From my understanding i am aloud carry 2 modules over to second year so woudl that mean i would go in with the 1st Year German A1 and A2 classes for 2012/13.

Got 34% in maths and 33% in Programing needed 1% and 2 % to compensate passed everything else with over 60% i have made 2nd year with the 2 fails but i think its bad that i did not even get that 1% in maths.

Also i had 34% in Programing going into the last 50% test and i have 33% after it i lost 2% by doing the test only me can lose marks getting it looked at again

I am not very happy about basely failing over 3 %
