Hi all - we're planning to have a free bar at our wedding. I think we're right but just to get some more input.... you don't need a drinks licence if you're not selling drink, is that correct?

So if we stock the bar and just hire the staff to serve it, then we don't need a drinks licence.

    Is that right?

    Thanks
    G

I think so. Thats what we did at our wedding (private venue).
Same as having a house party isnt it?
