Hi, does anyone know approximately how much money I would be entitled to given the following information, after I was made redundant:
    • I worked for 26 months, 25 of which when I was under 18.
    • I worked on average, 7 hours a week, earning minimum wage.
    • I was given only a few days notification of the workplace going into liquidity.

I'm not really sure how to work that redundancy calculator...any help in just guessing here would be great. Thanks!

statutory redundancy is 2 weeks pay for every year that you worked plus 1 week extra pay.

so you worked for just over 2 years that would be 4 weeks pay, plus 1 week = 5 weeks pay in total.

that is the minimum that you legally entitled to but some companies give more. like maybe another 2 or 3 weeks pay per year of service.
so that could be another 4 or 6 weeks pay if the company decides to pay it.
